What do I use to polish my hardwood floor?
Use Howard Wood-N-Floors to clean hardwood floors, luxury vinyl planks (LVP), laminate, and engineered floors. It quickly removes dirt and grime from hardwood floors without leaving any sticky residue or streaks.
On new floors, with high gloss finishes, use Restor-A-Shine Polishing Compound. Restor-A-Shine can be used to buff out small scratches and dull marks in the finish. Then it’s recommended you use Citrus-Shield Premium Paste Wax to protect and polish your wood’s finish. Remember to test in an inconspicuous spot to make sure you like what it does.
Our waxes, especially Citrus-Shield Premium Paste Wax and Feed-N-Wax are best at polishing and protecting old hardwood floors. Both help protect finished or unfinished wood with a natural-looking satin wax finish. Feed-N-Wax is a softer wax that is easy to apply. Citrus-Shield contains harder waxes and can be buffed to a higher shine. For best results, reapply the wax whenever the wood looks or feels dry (every 3 - 6 months). –Use caution when using on floors as surface may become slippery if too much product is used. If surface is slippery, wipe away excess with a clean soft cloth or microfiber rag.
